Noel Allen has served as counsel for state licensing boards and is legal counsel for the development and implementation of The Uniform Accountancy Act. Jack Pinnix is a past president of the American Immigration Lawyers Association and has taught immigration law at three law schools. A.P. Carlton, Jr., the 2002-2003 President of the ABA, has extensive experience in complex business transactions, financial and public institutions, and corporate governance. All five partners, including Jack Nichols, a former Wake County Commissioner, and Lynn Calder, have extensive experience in the development of public policy and government regulation of private activity. Every partner has served in various law schools as adjunct faculty and four are named in Business North Carolina magazine’s “Legal Elite.” Each has the highest rating in Martindale-Hubbell, and the firm is listed as a nationally recognized bond counsel in The Bond Buyer’s Municipal Marketplace.
